How it works

Five steps. Your cashier does one of them.

Zero gadgets

Same checkout, minus the hardware.

Customers download nothing

The QR opens a web page with their number and one button to turn on alerts. That is the whole onboarding.

Cashiers use any phone

Send one link and that phone becomes a register buddy. New orders show up on their own.

Missed the ring? It rings again

Kueues nudges again automatically, and staff can see who turned alerts on before they start shouting numbers.

Pagers have a habit of walking out the door.

In pockets, in purses, in to-go bags. Each lost pager costs about $30 to $60 to replace, and the rest need charging every night. Phones come with their own owners.

Nope. Customers never pay, sign up or download anything. You pay one flat subscription per location.

Only the billing cycle. Yearly is CA$300 a year (works out to CA$25 a month), every 3 months is CA$100. US locations pay US$300 and US$100. Same features, same unlimited everything.

No. Scanning the QR opens a regular web page in their browser. It works on iPhone and Android, old and new.

On Android, yes: push notifications arrive with the screen locked. On iPhone, push works when the customer adds the page to their Home Screen, which most people will not do while waiting for a burrito. So iPhone customers can opt in to a text message instead, and we recommend you leave that option on. Either way, the page itself rings loudly if it is open.

The cashier screen shows the number and the customer name if they gave one, so staff can call it out. The display board shows ready numbers too.

Yes, the cashier device needs a connection, and so do customers (cell data is fine). If the connection drops for a moment, the cashier screen catches up as soon as it is back.

Turn on the rotating code. The QR on your display board changes every few seconds, so a photo of yesterday’s code gets nobody a number.

With a link. You create one per person or per device, they open it once, done. No passwords to share, and you can revoke a link any time.

Yes, both. Connect from your dashboard and orders become tickets automatically. Using something else? Our REST API takes about an afternoon to wire up.
